Track and Field Update

10 Apr 2022 by Shelton Ervin

Good Evening,

As the Track and Field Season wraps up, I would like to thank all who supported the young men during the season. Thanks for trusting me and the Summer Creek Running Program (Track and Field and Cross Country)! The final count on the season stands at 166 total athletes who participated in Track and Field this year, and that number will continue to grow as we welcome an additional middle school in Ridge Creek. It truly takes a village to pull off an operation of this magnitude.

Parents and Athletes, I now need you to help ensure the equipment (uniform and for some sweats) is returned during this week. I have asked the guys to bring the gear that was checked out to them to the athletic period on Monday. The items do not need to be washed as I am required to wash all equipment upon its return. Can you please have a conversation with your son to make sure the gear is turned in on time? If the gear is not returned, I will be required to turn in a fines and fees list on Monday, 4/18. If an athlete is on the fines and fee list, it will delay their ability to register for classes in August.

This message does not apply to those competing at the Varsity T&F Meet this weekend.
